Founded in 1960 in Napier Town, Jabalpur. Prof. Dr. D.K. Gupta (1932-2020) built the foundation of dermato-venereology in Central India — the first independent department at NSCB Medical College, the leprosy-eradication programme, and a generation of students who went on to AIIMS and the UK.
