Oral antiviral indicated for the treatment of herpes simplex (HSV-1, HSV-2) and varicella-zoster infections. Inhibits viral DNA synthesis, shortening flare duration when started early.
Usage Instructions
As prescribed — typically 400mg three to five times daily for 5–10 days depending on indication. Maintain hydration during therapy.
Precautions
Prescription only. Use under dermatologist supervision; do not exceed prescribed duration.
