Fixed-dose combination of a retinoid and antimicrobial agent for moderate-to-severe acne. Adapalene normalises follicular keratinisation while benzoyl peroxide kills P. acnes bacteria and reduces inflammation. First-line therapy for inflammatory acne.
Usage Instructions
Apply a pea-sized amount to the entire affected area once daily at bedtime on clean, dry skin. Begin with alternate-day use for the first 2 weeks if skin is sensitive.
Precautions
Prescription only. Causes photosensitivity — strict daily sunscreen use is mandatory. May bleach coloured fabrics. Initial dryness and peeling is expected and not a reason to stop.
