Oral retinoid for moderate-to-severe nodulocystic acne unresponsive to topical and antibiotic therapy. Reduces sebaceous gland activity, normalises keratinisation, and prevents scarring.
Usage Instructions
Once-daily dosing with food, individualised to body weight (typically 0.5–1 mg/kg/day) under dermatologist supervision.
Precautions
Prescription only. Strictly contraindicated in pregnancy — reliable contraception is mandatory. Requires monthly LFT and lipid monitoring.
