Calcineurin-inhibitor immunosuppressant used for severe atopic dermatitis, recalcitrant urticaria, and pustular psoriasis.
Usage Instructions
Dose individualised by weight (typically 2.5–5 mg/kg/day in two divided doses). Requires regular BP and renal monitoring.
Precautions
Prescription only. Strict blood pressure and renal monitoring is essential. Many drug interactions.
